Contract Services for Schools
Partnering with Public, Private and Charter Schools
PsychEd School Services partners with public, private, and charter schools throughout the Charlotte and Lake Norman areas, with virtual services available statewide. Whether you are managing a heavy caseload, covering a leave, or facing a surge in referrals, we scale to what you need, from a single evaluation to ongoing team support. We work fluently in ECATS and know the NCDPI policies governing eligibility and services for students with disabilities, so integration with your team is straightforward from day one.
How PsychEd School Services works with schools:

We schedule a brief consultation to learn about your school, your caseload, and your needs. We'll discuss availability, timeline, and whether PsychEd School Services is a good fit for your team. Interested? Send us an inquiry.

Once you decide to move forward, we work with your EC Director and/or Principal to establish a contract. You determine the scope, whether that is a single evaluation or broader IEP team support, and we build from there.

Once the contract is in place, we promptly schedule and conduct the requested assessments. Services may include:
Record Review
Observations
Adaptive behavior evaluation
Behavior assessment related to autism
Behavioral/emotional evaluation
Educational evaluation
Psychological evaluation

Your team receives a detailed, well-documented report written to meet NCDPI eligibility standards. We are also available to support ECATS entry, attend eligibility or IEP meetings, and consult with your team on next steps.

After each case, we check in to make sure the report and recommendations met your team's needs. We welcome feedback and are available for any follow-up questions as your team moves forward with the student.
