Meet Nicole
As an NC Board-certified Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) and NC Department of Public Instruction Licensed School Psychologist, I bring over 15 years of experience working with children and families across public, charter, private, and homeschool settings.
My work centers on comprehensive diagnostic Psychoeducational Evaluations assessing neurodevelopmental disorders including Specific Learning Disorders (e.g., Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia), ADHD and executive functioning, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disability. As a Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology, I bring advanced training in neuropsychological principles to every evaluation.
PsychEd School Services is built on two complementary practices. Private evaluations allow for individualized assessment and close collaboration with families. Contracting directly with schools keeps me in schools, where I have always felt most at home. It also keeps me current with evolving classrooms, NCDPI policy, and the realities school teams navigate every day.
My career has placed me on nearly every side of the IEP table. Before becoming a school psychologist, I taught in the classroom and held licensure in both general and special education. As a clinical evaluator, a contracted school psychologist, and a mother, I understand classroom and intervention dynamics, the questions that matter most to families, and how clinical findings translate into real support inside a school.
My family has called North Carolina home since 2018, and my husband and I are blessed with four daughters, two in college (Go Heels!) and two in high school.
